Dr. Jeremy Joyal is a licensed physician with board certifications in Anesthesiology, Pain Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. After graduating from Brigham Young University in Neuroscience in 2004, he earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin with Honors in Research in 2009. The next steps in training included a Transitional Year at Wheaton-Franciscan St. Joe’s Hospital in Milwaukee with a heavy emphasis on inpatient Internal Medicine, completing the program in 2010. As a resident physician from 2010 to 2013, he specialized in Anesthesiology, receiving training from one of the nation’s most respected and recognized healthcare facilities, Washington University in St. Louis. After completing his specialty training, he further specialized in Pain Medicine and graduated from the University of Utah’s ACGME-accredited fellowship program in 2014. Dr. Joyal also provides options for medication-assisted treatment for opioid addiction. He is also fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Jeremy Joyal established Advanced Spine and Pain in 2018 to help patients suffering from a wide variety of pain conditions regain function and restore quality of life. Dr. Joyal offers state-of-the-art therapies and the most comprehensive interventional pain management treatments.
